Man killed in Roseland shooting

The shooting happened about 1:25 p.m. Monday in the 11000 block of South Wentworth Avenue, Chicago police said.

A 15-year-old boy was wounded in a shooting Aug. 6, 2021, in South Shore.

A person was shot dead June 14, 2021, in Roseland.

A man was fatally shot Monday in Roseland on the South Side.

Ramon Meeks, 24, was shot around 1:25 p.m. in the 11000 block of South Wentworth Avenue, according to Chicago police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office..

He suffered a gunshot wound to his chest and was pronounced dead at Roseland Community Hospital, police said.

No arrests have been made.
