Man shot and killed in Woodlawn

The shooting happened in the 6300 block of South Rhodes Avenue.

A male was killed in a shooting June 2, 2021, in Woodlawn.

A 21-year-old man was shot and killed Wednesday afternoon in Woodlawn on the South Side.

Just after 5 p.m., the man was inside a car in the 6300 block of South Rhodes Avenue when he heard shots and felt pain, Chicago police said.

He suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene, according to police.

The Cook County medical examiner’s office identified him as Dunate C. Falls Jr.

There was no one in custody.
