He was driving a Jeep about 1:40 a.m. in the 3100 block of West Augusta Boulevard when a car pulled up next to him and someone from inside fired shots.

A 20-year-old man was killed in a drive-by shooting early Sunday in Humboldt Park.

Eduardo Torres of Aurora was driving a Jeep about 1:40 a.m. in the 3100 block of West Augusta Boulevard when a car pulled up next to him and someone from inside fired shots, Chicago police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office said.

The man was shot in the head, police said. A passenger in the Jeep drove him to Stroger Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

No one is in custody as Area Three detectives investigate.
