Three teenagers were charged with carjacking a woman at gunpoint Wednesday night as she parked her SUV at her home in Rogers Park.

The women, 21, had just pulled her 2021 Toyota RAV4 into her garage in the 7700 block of North Marshfield Avenue when six people walked up and one of them displayed a gun, Chicago police said.

They demanded she and her passenger get out the SUV. The group took a purse and personal items before fleeing in the SUV, police said.

No one was injured, police said.

Police said two 16-year-old girls and a 16-year-old boy were charged in the carjacking.

The boy’s parents are seeking legal action against the officer. The Chicago Police Department said it is investigating the incident, which occurred Friday evening.
“I haven’t heard anybody who thinks it’s a good idea to increase the speeds talking about what they’re gonna do in an election-year budget to find the revenues ... necessary to replace the revenue stream. That is now front-and-center on peoples’ minds,” the mayor said.

The person was charged with one count of disorderly conduct after authorities tracked her to a home in Chicago.
At 88, he was still working as a financial adviser. “He was so smart and so funny,” financial columnist Terry Savage said. “Anyone that had him as a financial adviser was lucky.”
