Police release images of SUV in fatal Princeton Park shooting

Police have released photos of an SUV wanted in connection with a fatal shooting last week in Princeton Park on the South Side.

The attack happened about 12:45 p.m. June 1 in the 9100 block of South Wentworth Avenue, Chicago police said.

Ogonnia Okeke was on the sidewalk when someone opened fire, striking him multiple times, police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office said. He died at the University of Chicago Medical Center.

Images released by police show what appears to be a black Jeep SUV. Anyone with information can call Area Two detectives at 312-747-8273.
