Man found fatally shot in Englewood

Officers responded to reports of shots fired in the 6000 block of South Racine Avenue.

A person was shot June 21, 2022, at North Avenue Beach.

A man was shot dead July 12, 2021, in Englewood.

A man was shot to death in Englewood on the South Side Monday night.

Officers responded to reports of shots fired about 10:40 p.m. in the 6000 block of South Racine Avenue and found the 35-year-old with multiple gunshot wounds, Chicago police said.

Kellen E. Bledsoe was taken to St. Bernard Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office said.

No one was in custody.
