2 teen boys seriously hurt in Little Village shooting

The teen boys, 16 and 18, were near the sidewalk about 6 p.m. in the 2600 block of 23rd Place when a vehicle pulled up and someone from inside fired shots.

Two teenage boys were seriously injured in a shooting Saturday in Little Village on the West Side.

The teen boys, 16 and 18, were near the sidewalk about 6 p.m. in the 2600 block of West 23rd Place when a vehicle pulled up and someone from inside fired shots, Chicago police said.

They were both struck multipe time in the body and they were taken to Mt. Sinai Hospital in serious condition, police said.

No one is in custody as area detectives investigate.
