Man carjacked in Bucktown

About 10:30 p.m., he was attempting to park his silver 2013 Lexus Es 300 in the 1700 block of North Wolcott Avenue, when a man wearing a ski-mask approached him, pointed a gun at him and demanded his personal belongings and that he get out of the car.

A 51-year-old man was carjacked Monday in Bucktown on the Northwest Side.

About 10:30 p.m., he was attempting to park his silver 2013 Lexus Es 300 in the 1700 block of North Wolcott Avenue, when a man wearing a ski-mask approached him, pointed a gun at him and demanded his personal belongings and that he get out of the car, Chicago police said.

He complied, the man jumped into his car and fled north on Wolcott Avenue, police said. The 51-year-old man was not injured.

Area Five detectives are investigating.
