Three people were wounded in a shooting Wednesday night in East Garfield Park.

They were on the sidewalk in the 3500 block of West Lake Street when someone opened fire about 7:30 p.m., Chicago police said.

A 35-year-old man suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was taken to Stroger Hospital in critical condition, police said.

A 24-year-old woman was grazed in the thigh, police said. Another woman, 27, was shot in the back and taken to Mt. Sinai Hospital in critical condition.

No one was in custody.
