A man was shot to death Tuesday on the Far South Side.

About 6:10 p.m., the 28-year-old was found on the porch of a residence on the 300 block of East 131st Place with multiple gunshot wounds to his body, Chicago Police said.

He was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

The Cook county medical examiner’s office identified him as Deontea Jones.

No one was in custody.
