A man was shot in West Woodlawn early Friday on the South Side.

The man, 45, was shot in the 6000 block of South Champlain Avenue about 12:30 a.m., Chicago Police said.

He was hit twice in the arm and was taken to University of Chicago Medical Center where his condition was stabilized, police said.

No one was in custody.
