A man has been charged with murder after allegedly shooting another man to death last month in the South Shore neighborhood.
Clarence Leachman, 45, is accused of shooting 30-year-old Donzell Bailey in the 6800 block of South Ridgeland Avenue, Chicago police said.
Bailey was found on a sidewalk outside an apartment building and pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
Leachman was arrested Tuesday by members of the Great Lakes Regional Fugitive Task Force.
He faces one count of first-degree murder and was scheduled to appear in bond court Thursday.
