A 15-year-old was shot walking on the West Side Sunday.

A 15-year-old was shot early Sunday morning while walking on the West Side.

About 12:15 a.m., the teen was walking in the 3800 block of West Jackson Boulevard when someone opened fire, striking him in the hip, Chicago police said.

He was driven by an acquaintance to Mount Sinai Hospital where he was listed in good condition, police said.

No one was in custody.
