Thursday's practice update

Right tackle Fred Miller remained out of Thursday’s practice with a sprained right ankle.

The good news is that cornerback Nathan Vasher (groin) was on the field for practice for the second consecutive day.

While DT Tommie Harris (left knee) wasn’t doing a lot of stretching, he did have his helmet and looked ready to participate in at least portions of the workout. LB Lance Briggs (knee) was also back on the practice field.

WR Devin Hester (foot) also had his helmet and appeared ready to return to work.

More updates later on this afternoon.
