While the organization did zero to promote the fact that more than just returner Devin Hester and coverage ace Brendon Ayanbadejo were honored with Tuesday’s release of Pro Bowl information, there is more good news.

Israel Idonije was selected as a third alternate behind Ayanbadejo, huge news considering his name was not on the fan ballot, that counts one-third in the selection process.

Kicker Robbie Gould, who has quietly put together a solid season, was chosen as the second alternate.
