Obama showing "love" to the Rays...and rooting for the Phillies. Pander alert!

WASHINGTON–This is what happens when you have World Series teams from two battleground states, Pennsylvania and Florida: Barack Obama is giving the impression he is backing both the Rays and the Phillies. The failure of Obama’s White Sox to make the series gave the South Sider the freedom to choose….twice. Pander alert!

On Monday in Tampa Obama noted that he is a unity candidate who brings people together, a White Sox fan “showing love to the Rays, and the Rays showing some love back.”

On Oct. 11 in Philadelphia, Obama said, “My White Sox are gone, so I’ll go ahead and root for the Phillies now.”
