Obama speaking in rain, no hat, no cover, getting drenched.

CHESTER, PA.–I know image and optics in the Barack Obama campaign has been very important. But it is raining at this outdoor Obama rally here at Widener University and Obama is speaking without a hat, umbrella or any kind of cover and he is getting drenched. He is soaking wet–wearing a jacket and Levis–the style with the red tag on the back pocket. John McCain nixed a rally in Pennsylvania because of the bad weather.

Call me silly, but– one week from Obama possibly being president-elect is not the time to catch a cold. Time Magazine’s Jay Newton-Small reminds us of in her blog on this matter of what happened to William Henry Harrison after he caught cold at his inauguration
