DT Kennedy signs Jags' offer sheet

Defensive tackle Jimmy Kennedy has signed a one-year offer sheet with the Jacksonville Jaguars for the veteran minimum of $605,000. The deal includes a $50,000 signing bonus making it worth $655,000.

The Bears have the right of first refusal, a clause negotiated into his contract when he signed with them in December. The Bears wanted him to sign a two-year deal and when he balked they included this provision.

The Bears have until Monday to match the offer or decline it. Its unlikely Kennedy will be a Bear.
