“Barack Obama will return to Los Angeles on June 24 for his first fund-raiser in the area since claiming the Democratic nomination.
“The event — certain to a big draw in the Hollywood and L.A. fund-raising community — will be held at the Los Angeles Music Center in downtown Los Angeles, although the exact venue is being worked out, according to a source with knowledge of the plans. It will start at 5 p.m., and is being organized for a crowd of about 1,000. Obama will be raising money for a victory fund via Democratic National Committee, meaning that donors can max out to $28,500 apiece.”
