DAILY GUIDANCE AND PRESS SCHEDULE FOR

FRIDAY, MARCH 13, 2009

In the morning, the President will receive the Presidential Daily Briefing, the Economic Daily Briefing and meet with senior advisors in the Oval Office. These meetings are closed press.

In the afternoon, President Obama will meet with Economic Recovery Advisory Board Chairman Paul Volcker in the Roosevelt Room. This meeting is closed press. Following the meeting, the President will appear with economic advisors and deliver brief remarks in the Oval Office. This will be pooled press.

Later, the President and the Vice President will have lunch in the Oval Office. This is closed press.

Also tomorrow morning, Lawrence Summers, Director of the White House National Economic Council, will deliver remarks at the Brookings Institution on the Obama administration’s economic program and the prospects for the American economy.
