DAILY GUIDANCE AND PRESS SCHEDULE FOR

TUESDAY, MAY 4, 2010

In the morning, the President and the Vice President will receive the Presidential Daily Briefing and the Economic Daily Briefing in the Oval Office. These meetings are closed press. Later, the President will meet with senior advisors in the Oval Office. This meeting is closed press.

Later in the morning, the President will address the annual meeting of the Business Council at the Park Hyatt. The President will address the administration’s ongoing efforts to spur job creation and the important role the business community plays in our efforts to rebuild the economy. The President will also discuss the urgent need to pass Wall Street reform and address core principles of reform that will protect consumers and put in place clear rules of the road to help prevent another crisis. The President’s remarks are pooled press.

Later, the President will have lunch with Elie Wiesel in the Private Dining Room. This lunch is closed press.

In the afternoon, the President and the Vice President will meet with Secretary of Defense Gates in the Oval Office. This meeting is closed press.
