WASHINGTON–House Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) increasing complaints about Congress notified but not consulted on the Libya military operation was heard by the Obama White House on Thursday and on March 30, House members will get a classified briefing on Libya from the Obama war cabinet.
My post earlier Thursday on the subject of Obama, Congress and Libya is here.
My post asking what is the end game on Libya is here.
Testifying next Wednesday will be Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton; Defense Secretary Robert Gates; Director of National Intelligence Lt. Gen. James Clapper and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Admiral Mike Mullen.
Because of the Wednesday classified hearing, the House Foreign Relation Committee hearing on Libya–the first public hearing–was switched to Thursday from Wednesday.
