Michael Jackson's dad suffers a stroke, is recovering

Michael Jackson’s father, Joe Jackson, has suffered a stroke and is recovering in a Las Vegas hospital, Reuters reports.

“He was doing well and says he’s feeling OK,” said Brian Oxman, a close family friend and one-time attorney for Michael Jackson.

Joe Jackson, who had a history of strokes, started to feel weak while on a walk in a park near his home, and was then admitted to a hospital.

“He was talking fine,” said Oxman. “He sounded excellent to me.”
