Jeff Budzien was named Big Ten Special Teams Player of the Week after tying a school record with five field goals in Saturday’s 22-13 win over Boston College on Saturday.Budzien is tied for first nationally with eight made field goals this season and is the only kicker in the nation to make 8-of-8 field goals. The junior, who scored Northwestern’s game-winning points in its two first wins, connected from 42, 20, 29, 41 and 19 yards. The 42-yarder was his long for the season.
