David Lehman caught several big bucks, including this one, along the North Branch Bike Trail just south of Dempster in Morton Grove.
“They were running all round grunting and groaning like there was no tomorrow,” he emailed.
That is a good description of some activity and general loss of common sense in bucks associated with the rut.
