Chicagoans hit the court all week on 'Judge Mathis'

It’s Chicago week on the nationally syndicated court show “Judge Mathis.”

The show, presided over by former Detroit-area District Court Judge Greg Mathis, is touting a “special week” of cases with litigants from the Chicago region appearing on each episode. The program is taped at NBC Tower in Chicago, but plaintiffs and defendants come from across the country.

On today’s installment, a North Chicago father claims he was falsely arrested by the jealous ex-husband of his daughter’s mother. (I’ll give you a minute to let that sink in.)

Now in its 15th season, “Judge Mathis” airs weekdays at 3 p.m. on WCIU-Channel 26.
