“Every Day is Election Day: A Woman’s Gide to Winning Any Office, from the PTA to the White House,” the new book by local public affairs consultant Rebecca Sive, will be launched at the Women Employed 40th anniversary panel discussion with U.S. Rep. Robin Kelly and Susan Sher, first lady Michelle Obama’s former chief-of-staff, 5:30 p.m. Monday at Northern Trust, 50 S. LaSalle St.

Sive’s book, is a straight-forward “how to” guide which includes insights into winning elections, why women shy away from running for office and how to develop influence as a woman in the political arena.
