'Chicago Fire' filming downtown Chicago today

The boys are back in town and they’re filming downtown Monday.

“Chicago Fire” trucks, ambulances and of course the stars, are working around 330 W. Wacker. The crews also have posted permits at 3831 S. Michigan Ave and 1211 W. Race.

The second season of the NBC show premieres Sept. 24 at 9 p.m. Chicago fans are sure to tune in, as last season it received a 12 share Nielsen rating or better in the Chi.
