SHARE Radio Waves: Matt & Mick Mullady, Ultimate Outdoor Show

Mattand Mick Mullady talk family history on the Kankakee River and the inaugural Ultimate Outdoor Show this afternoon on “Outside.’`

The main reason Matt came on is to pump up the inaugural Ultimate Outdoor Show, which will be at River Road Park Sept. 7-8 along the Kankakee River.

I wanted to touch on that, the innovative notion of an outdoors show outside in a relatively dead period in the outdoors. it could be a good deal and I am helping emcee Saturday morning of the show.

But, more importantly from my end, I wanted to touch on family history and the Kankakee. Matt is the son of Hall-of-Famer Ed Mullady, while Mick is the grandson.

“Outside” airs from 4:30-5 p.m. Mondays on WKCC-FM (91.1) in Kankakee. The rebroadcasts are at 8:30 a.m. on Saturdays.
