Chicago Comedy Film Festival releases 2013 lineup

Forty-seven indie comedies. October 4 and 5. Showplace ICON Theater at Roosevelt Collection.

Those are the basic details for the 3rd annual Chicago Comedy Film Festival, which just released its 2013 lineup.

A handful of highlights:

October 3

7 p.m. to 10 p.m.: Kick-off bash at The Original Mothers (26 W. Division) featuring live comedy and local film shorts.

October 4

9:30 p.m.: One Small Hitch (starring Rob Belushi and other locals)

October 5

2 p.m.: A Little Something on the Side (starring Justine Bateman and Katy Mixon of Mike & Molly)

4: p.m.: Lucy in the Sky with Diamond (starring La Bamba’s Lou Diamond Phillips)

6.p.m.: Mousse (Sweden)

8 p.m. : First Period
