Radio Waves: Jason Duracka on pets, exotic & otherwise

SHARE Radio Waves: Jason Duracka on pets, exotic & otherwise

Jason Duracka talks aquarium fish and other pets, leading to a discussion of illegal releases and other pet-related issues this afternoon on “Outside.”

I was reminded I wanted the owner of Animal Island Pet Shop in Midlothian when I had to check with him on a recent find of a flowerhorn, a beautiful but ornery fish, at Humboldt Park.

I forgot to grab a photo of Duracka when he was in studio, so the flowerhorn will have to do.

“Outside” airs from 4:30-5 p.m. Mondays on WKCC-FM (91.1) in Kankakee. The rebroadcasts are at 8:30 a.m. on Saturdays.
