SHARE CPS board to vote on the district's giant budget this morning...but

Lot going on today in CPS-land. A school boycott is planned by a group wanting to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the March on Washington by drawing attention to inequalities in education (though the mayor is begging parents not to participate).

And the Board of Ed is supposed to vote on its massive budget that manages to balance itself with classroom cuts and maxed-out property taxes.

On Tuesday, parents who are mostly members and members of Raise Your Hand took to Twitter to question the accuracy of the budget, online here, they say doesn’t match what their schools have been told.
