Friends and associates of Usher are praying for a quick recovery for the music superstar’s son, Usher Raymond V. The little boy is in the intensive care unit of an Atlanta hospital, after he nearly drowned in a residential pool in the Georgia capital. The 5-year-old’s arm got stuck in the pool’s drain, after he jumped in to retrieve a toy he saw in the drain. After the boy’s aunt and a maid were unsuccessful in freeing him, two men working at the house were successful.

Usher arrived in time to accompany his son to the hospital in an ambulance. The little boy is expected to make a full recovery, according to a TMZ report, citing hospital sources.

Usher Raymond V, is the oldest of two sons with the singer’s ex-wife, Tameka Raymond.
