Oprah wig: Like "Chaka Khan and Diana Ross combined"

Big is beautiful!

On Oprah.com, there’s a nifty behind-the-scenes look at the “O Magazine” photo shoot that had Oprah Winfrey (neighbor of Sun-Times columnist Bill Zwecker) donning a 3.5 pound wig.

The wig was roughly the weight of a small chihuahua, the Oprah.com feature notes. O creative director Adam Glassman described it as “Chaka Khan and Diana Ross combined.”

The wig is part of the magazine’s hair issue, a topic which Winfrey has taken on before. In a clip seen here, comedian Chris Rock tells Winfrey he knows she’s rich not by her many homes but by the feel of her natural hair.
