Amber Tamblyn joins "Two and a Half Men"

There’s a replacement for Angus T. Jones on CBS’ “Two and a Half Men” — and it might come as something of a surprise. Amber Tamblyn — best known for her starring roles on “Joan of Arcadia” and “House, M.D.” — has been cast as Jenny Harper, the illegitimate lesbian daughter of the late Charlie Harper (famously and formerly played by Charlie Sheen).

She will recur in at least five episodes during Season 11 and will have the option to become a series regular, if research proves her character becomes popular with the sitcom’s audience.
