'Live' stars Kelly & Michael hit town

The big special guests on “Windy City Live” on WLS-Channel 7 Friday morning will be none other than Kelly Ripa and Michael Strahan. Also joining the duo will be longtime “Live” executive producer Michael Gelman — an alum of Highland Park High School.

This season “Live with Kelly & Michael” moved to WLS’s 9 a.m. hour — leading “Windy City Live” to move to the 11 a.m. timeslot, following “The View.”

This Friday, the New York-based Ripa and Strahan will actually be live with “Windy City Live’s” Val Warner and Ryan Chiavarini — but their own show, airing earlier — was taped. It’s a celebration of Ripa and Strahan’s one-year on-air anniversary and their first “Viewer’s Choice” show — a countdown of the top 10 favorite moments from their first year, as voted on by fans.
