Fish of the Week: Muskie of a lifetime, in Illinois

Ray Fuller of Gurnee turned a switch in bait into the muskie of his life Sept. 14 on the Chain O’Lakes.

“[We were] not seeing a thing for the first couple of hours when Ray decided to switch things up and was rewarded within three casts with this 48-inch bruiser,” emailed his friend Jeff Pedersen. “This is Ray’s biggest musky ever and this is a good Illinois fish.”

Indeed.
