Motley Crue farewell tour coming to Tinley Park

Tickets go on sale Saturday (Wednesday for fan clubs, Citi card holders and VIP packages) for the Aug. 8 show at the First Midwest Bank Amphitheatre. Vince Neil, Mick Mars, Nikki Sixx and Tommy Lee also will play Summerfest in Milwaukee on July 4 and Nov. 9 at iWireless Center in Moline.

Alice Cooper will open.

To avoid the pop music cliche of retiring and then unretiring, the rockers took the unusual step of publicly signing a breakup contract, effective at the end of 2015, at a press conference.
