Delta hits home run with 80s themed safety video

How often do you actually pay attention to the safety instructions on a plane?

Delta Airlines may have found the magic formula to get passengers to watch with a new in-flight safety movie. While a bit on the long side, the 1980’s theme is like a trip down memory lane for those of us old enough to have lived through it.

They even managed to get Kareem Abdul-Jabbar to make a cameo (or is his name Roger Murdock?), and ALF also came out of retirement.

There’s also a great bit when the flight attendant is talking about WiFi access, and two passengers shrug their shoulders in confusion. The one passenger manually reeling up his cassette tape is classic.
