Grocery chain Trader Joe’s plans to open in the Woodfield Village Green shopping center in Schaumburg.

The a 12,500-square-foot store will be in a new building at the northeast corner of Golf and Meacham roads, a Trader Joe’s spokeswoman told chicagobusiness.com. The store is likely to open next year.

Two Dominick’s stores in Schaumburg closed at the end of December.
