Canon USA opens Itasca repair center

Canon USA Inc. has opened a service and support center in Itasca for users of its professional-level cameras, camcorders and lenses.

“The new Itasca Professional Service and Support Center is a testament to the growth and demand of Canon’s professional imaging products and the local support needed for imaging professionals working in or around Chicago,” Canon USA president and chief operating officer Yuichi Ishizuka said.

The Itasca center is the company’s third, joining ones in Hollywood, Calif., and Ridgefield Park, N.J. Repair operations at the Itasca facility include four camera body and lens adjustment rooms, calibration equipment and spare parts.

The center works on equipment covered by Canon’s Professional Services program.
