SHARE Man shot in East Garfield Park

A man was shot several times Monday morning in the East Garfield Park neighborhood on the West Side.

The 27-year-old man suffered gunshot wounds to the elbow, hand and knee shortly before noon in the 3300 block of West Fulton Boulevard, police News Affairs Officer Ana Pacheco said.

He took himself to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was listed in “stable” condition, Pacheco said.

No one is in custody as Area North detectives investigate.
