Man shot in Roseland

A man was shot Sunday afternoon in the Roseland neighborhood on the Far South Side.

The 21-year-old man suffered a gunshot wound to the middle of his back about 12:55 p.m. in the 200 block of West 111th Street, police News Affairs Janel Sedevic said.

He was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where he was listed in “stable” condition, Sedevic said.

Area South detectives are investigating.
