Aurelio’s Pizza has signed on the official pizza of Lincoln Park Zoo and a sponsor of its United Run for the Zoo and Jammin’ at the Zoo summer concert series.

Aurelio’s Pizza is bringing its pizza-making processes to the zoo and will have its signature item available at Park Place Cafe.

“Lincoln Park Zoo is open 365 days a year and is still free. It’s educational, fun, affordable and wholesome family entertainment. Both Aurelio’s and Lincoln Park serve families with the best we have to offer,” said Kirk Mauriello, Aurelio’s Pizza chief operating officer.

Aurelio’s, which started with a Homewood restaurant in 1959, now has more than 40 restaurants in six states.
