SHARE Loop bank branch robbed Tuesday morning

A Citibank branch in the Loop was robbed Tuesday morning.

The bank in the 100 block of West Jackson Boulevard was robbed about 8:30 a.m., police News Affairs Officer Michael Sullivan said, citing preliminary information.

A male suspect implied he had a weapon and robbed the bank, Sullivan said.

No one is in custody early Tuesday. The FBI and Chicago Police are investigating.
