Man seriously wounded in West Englewood shooting

A man was seriously wounded in a shooting Thursday morning in the West Englewood neighborhood on the South Side.

The man, whose age was not immediately available, was discovered with a gunshot wound to the back in a home in the 6800 block of South Paulina Street at 11:20 a.m., police said.

The man was taken in serious condition to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, police said.

Police said the victim is being “extremely uncooperative” with authorities.
