Two men were critically injured in an Englewood neighborhood drive-by shooting Friday night on the South Side.

The men, ages 20 and 22, were walking on the sidewalk in the 6900 block of South Parnell Avenue about 11:55 p.m. when a light-colored sedan drove by and someone inside fired shots, police said.

The 20-year-old man suffered gunshot wounds to the buttocks, hip and abdomen, and 22-year-old man was shot in the left hand and right arm, police said. Both men were taken to John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital of Cook County in critical condition.
