Man injured in West Englewood drive-by shooting

A man was wounded in a drive-by shooting Monday afternoon in the West Englewood neighborhood on the South Side.

The 19-year-old man was riding his bicycle at 2:13 p.m. in the 6600 block of South Justine Street, when a car drove by and someone inside fire shots, said police News Affairs Officer Stacey Cooper.

He suffered a gunshot wound to the leg and was taken to John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital of Cook County, where he was listed in “stable” condition, Cooper said.
