(MAYWOOD) A man was shot to death last week in west suburban Maywood.
Javen Hutchins, 35, died at 11:34 p.m. May 26 at Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner’s office.
Hutchins, of the 300 block of South 9th Avenue in Maywood, was shot in the 200 block of South 19th Avenue, according to the medical examiner’s office.
An autopsy found Hutchins died of a gunshot wound to the head and his death was ruled a homicide.
Maywood police did not immediately respond to a call for comment.
