Boy, 13, missing from West Englewood

Police are searching for a 13-year-old boy who went missing Monday from his West Englewood home.

Taruis Robinson was last seen at 9:30 a.m. Monday at his home in the 6900 block of South Wood Street, according to a missing person alert from Area South detectives.

Police said he was going to a store at 69th and Ashland.

Taruis is described as a 5-foot-8, 120-pound black boy with black hair, brown eyes and a medium complexion. He was last seen wearing a gray shirt and cargo pants.
